WHY SHOULD WE TAKE FOODS RICH IN VITAMIN E

  1. Health benefits of vitamin E are protection against toxins such as air pollution, premenstrual syndrome, eye disorders such as cataracts, neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, and diabetes.
  2. Immunity levels improve when vitamin E is consumed.
  3. It reduces cholesterol and the risk of developing cancer.
  4. Vitamin E thins the blood which is another significant health benefit. In other words, it prevents the blood platelets from clumping. High levels of vitamin E reduce the risk of sunstroke and coronary artery disorder or heart disease.
  5. Another widely known health benefit of vitamin E is in skin care and hair care. Owing to its antioxidant properties, vitamin E promotes the circulation of blood to the scalp. Vitamin E helps alleviate fatigue and strengthen capillary walls while nourishing the cells.
  6. Pure vitamin E oil is extremely versatile. A major benefit of vitamin E oil for the skin is that it helps the healing process. As vitamin E is absorbed by the epidermis layer of the skin, it can be used for treating sunburn or protecting you from the sun.
  7. Another wonderful benefit of vitamin E oil is that it can be used to treat scars, acne, and wrinkles because it speeds up cell regeneration. This creates an anti-aging effect, which makes the skin look younger.
  8. Vitamin E oil benefits the skin by helping it retain its natural moisture content. Vitamin E oil makes dull-looking, dry skin look healthier and fresher. You can apply a few drops of vitamin E oil to your nails and cuticles which is an effective way of treating the skin

Computer Cleaning Tips

1.Never spray or squirt any liquid onto any computer component. If a
spray is needed, spray the liquid onto a cloth and then use that cloth
to rub down the component.
2.You can use a vacuum to suck up dirt, dust, or hair around the
computer on the outsidecase. However,do notuse a vacuum for the inside
of your computer as it generates a lot of static electricity that can
damage the internal components of your computer. If you need to use a
vacuum to clean the inside of your computer, use a portable battery
powered vacuum designed to do this job or try using compressed air.
3.When cleaning a component or the computer, turn it off before cleaning.
4.Be cautious when using any cleaning solvents; some individuals may
have allergicreactions to chemicals in cleaning solvents and some
solvents can even damage the case. Try to always use water or a highly
diluted solvent.
5.When cleaning, be careful not to accidentally adjust any knobs or
controls. Inaddition, when cleaning the back of the computer, if
anything is plugged in, make sure not to disconnect any of the plugs.
6.When cleaning fans, especially the smaller fans within a portable
computer or laptop it's suggested that you either hold the fan or
place something in-between the fan blades to prevent it from spinning.
Sprayingcompressed air into a fan or cleaning a fan with a vacuum may
cause damage or back voltage to be generated.
7.Never eat or drink around the computer.
8.Limit smoking around the computer.

Top home remedies for Asthma.

1. Garlic
To treat asthma, garlic can be very useful. Take ten to fifteen cloves of garlic and boil them in half cup of milk. Drink this solution once in a day to cure asthma symptoms. Else you can even make garlic tea by adding three to four cloves of garlic to a pot of hot water and allow it to steep for five minutes. Allow the solution to come to room temperature and then drink it. This remedy will clear off the congestion in lungs and give you instant relief.
2. Ginger
Ginger is a well known ingredient used in different kinds of treatments. When suffering from asthma, take one inch of ginger cut it into small pieces and add it to a pot of boiling water and allow it to steep for five minutes. Allow the solution to cool and then drink it. If you wish you can even eat raw ginger mixed with salt to get some relief. Else mix one tablespoon of ginger juice and one tablespoon of honey to two tablespoon of fenugreek seeds soaked in water overnight. Drink this solution every morning and evening in order to detoxify the lungs.
3. Coffee
Your regular cup of hot coffee without milk can also help a lot when suffering from asthma. The caffeine in regular coffee can help to prevent and control asthma attacks. Hot coffee will relax and clear the airways also which will help you to breathe easily. Try to go for a stronger cup of coffee as the stronger the coffee, the better will be the result. But you should not drink more than three cups of black coffee in a day. If you do not like coffee you can opt for a cup of hot black tea.
4. Eucalyptus Oil
You can also use pure Eucalyptus oil to treat asthma symptoms. Just put a few drops of Eucalyptus oil on a paper towel and keep it by your head when sleeping. When you breathe Eucalyptus oil it will give your relief from asthma symptoms along with cold symptoms. Else put two to three drops of Eucalyptus oil into a bowl of hot water and then breathe in the steam as much as you can. Try to take deep breaths for quicker and faster results.
5. Honey
Honey is one of the oldest natural cures for asthma. Just by inhaling the smell of honey you can notice improvement in your breathing pattern. It is the alcohol and ethereal oils present in honey that will help people suffering from asthma. You can also take a glass of hot water and mix one teaspoon of honey into it and try to drink it slowly at least three times a day. Else mix one teaspoon of honey with half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder and eat it just before going to bed. This will help in removing phlegm from the throat.
6. Mustard Oil
While having an asthma attack, you can also get much relief from mustard oil. Mix some mustard oil with a little camphor and then use this solution to massage the back of the chest. Try to massage gently and do not put too much pressure. Massaging with mustard oil will clear up the respiratory passage and help you to breathe normally. Repeat this remedy several times a day until you get relief from various symptoms of asthma.
7. Lemon
Lemon can also be used to treat asthma symptoms at home. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon in a glass of water and add some sugar according to your taste. Drink this solution whenever you are suffering from an asthma attack. People with asthma have low levels of vitamin C and the Vitamin C present in lemon will fulfill that requirement. Also the antioxidant property of lemon juice will help in decreasing asthma symptoms. Along with lemon, you can also take orange juice, papaya, blueberries and strawberries.
8. Onions
Onions have anti-inflammatory properties that can help in reducing the constriction of the airways when suffering from asthma. Also the sulfur content in onions can help in decreasing inflammation in the lungs. When you eat raw onions it will clear the air passageways for better breathing. If you cannot bear the taste of raw onions you can even eat cooked onions to lessen the various symptoms of asthma attacks.
9. Salmon
Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, salmon can help a lot during asthma attacks. Omega-3 fatty acids help the lungs to react in a better manner to irritants causing asthma. It can also reduce airway narrowing and inflammation which can ultimately give relief from various symptoms of asthma. Along with salmon, you can even try fishes such as cod, sardines, mackerel and tuna. Also if raw salmon is not available, you can try salmon oil to get
For long term control and prevention:
• Decrease protein to 10 percent of daily caloric intake. Replace animal protein as much as possible with plant protein
• Eliminate milk and milk products, substituting other calcium sources.
• Eat organically grown fruits and vegetables as much as possible.
• Eliminate polyunsaturated vegetable oils, margarine, vegetable shortening, all partially hydrogenated oils that might contain trans-fatty acids, all foods
that might contain trans-fatty acids (such as deep-fried foods).
• Use extra-virgin olive oil as your main fat.
• Increase intake of omega-3 fatty acids.
• Always drink plenty of water to keep your respiratory tract secretions more fluid.
• Experiment with eliminating (one at a time) wheat, corn, soy and sugar for six to eight weeks to see if the condition improves.
• Eat ginger and turmeric regularly for their anti-inflammatory effects.
• Have some manipulative work done on the chest to break up restrictive patterns in nerves and muscles that develop in chronic asthma. The best systems I know for this are osteopathic manipulation, especially from a practitioner of cranial therapy, and Rolfing, a form of deep-tissue massage.
• Minimize contact with respiratory irritants, such as smoke, dust, molds, and volatile chemicals. Remove sources of offending materials from your home, install a good air filtration system, or consider moving if the air is generally bad where you live. Experiment with living in other locations: in high mountains, the desert, or near the seacoast. Asthma may improve greatly with a change of climate

The Difference Between Girls And Women

Girls want to control the man in their life.
Grown women know that if he's truly hers, he doesn't need controlling.
Girls check you for not calling them.Grown women are too busy to
realize you hadn't.
Girls are afraid to be alone.Grown women revel in it-using it as a
time for personal growth.
Girls ignore the good guys.Grown women ignore the bad guys.
Girls make you come home.Grown women make you want to come home.
Girls worry about not being pretty and/or good enough for their
man.Grown women know that they are pretty and/or good enough for any
man.
Girls try to monopolize all their man's time ( I.e., don't want him
hanging with his friends).Grown women realize that a lil' bit of space
makes the 'together time' even more special-and goes to kick it with
her own friends!
Girls think a guy crying is weak. Grown women offer their shoulder and a tissue.
Girls want to be spoiled and 'tell' their man so.Grown women 'show'
him and make him comfortable enough to reciprocate without fear of
losing his 'manhood'.
Girls search for a rich man, Women search for a caring and loving man.
Girls envy those who move ahead and hate the players; Women share
their knowledge and help others move ahead by not hating the players
but teaching the rules to the game.
Girls measure a man's worth by the weight of his pocket; Women measure
a man's worth by his level of Wisdom and the fear of God and how
disciplined he can be towards his finances.
Girls breakup with silly excuses; Women have endurance knowing that
everything happens for a reason.
Girls think about the present; Women think about future.
Girls love to have many guys going after them; Women know the law of
demand (Cheap things have high purchasers).
Girls take their relationship affairs outside; Women solve their
problem in-house.
Girls demand for money to buy make-Ups; Women demand for money to make plans.
Girls get hurt by one man and make all men pay for it; Women know
that, that was just ONE man.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MEN AND BOYS IN RELATIONSHIPS

JOIN NOW AND MAKE $75 A MONTH

1.     Men look for quality. Boys look for quantity.

Men are more concerned with the quality of their relationships than the frequency of their relations.
They can go out on the weekend and not feel compelled to bring someone home just so they can tell their boys about it in the morning.

2.     Men know when to call it quits. Boys know how to wait it out.

Part of being an adult is the ability to recognize a situation that’s counterproductive and take the steps to put yourself in the best long term position possible. Sometimes that involves making tough decisions that leave others hurt along the way. It’s part of life.
One of the most difficult things to do is tell someone you’re in a relationship with that you no longer want to be with them. One of the most cowardly things to do is stay in that relationship in hopes that you can get the other person to end it because you don’t have the courage or courtesy to do it first. Men have the difficult conversations. A boy avoids them and hopes that the woman will do what he should’ve done first. Even worse, boys disappear without saying anything at all.

3.     Men know how to listen. Boys don’t.

The ability to listen comes with the acquisition of wisdom. Somewhere along the way you learn that what you’re anticipating isn’t as important as what you allow the other person to say. Whether you know you’ll agree or disagree isn’t relevant. It doesn’t matter if you think you have the answer. It’s more important to just be there in the moment and listen. Men develop an empathetic ear over the years. Boys miss the message.

4.     Men value a woman’s time. Boys waste it.

The value of our time increases with age. We don’t wanna waste it playing meaningless games or dancing around reality. We want people to be straight forward with us about what’s on their mind and what they see our situation evolving toward. Men don’t need to lie to women to get what they want. They get that by being who they are and being willing to accept the consequences

5.     Men admit their transgressions. Boys convince women they’re insecure or crazy.

Conceding that you’re wrong or at fault isn’t always easy, but most of the time it’s the step that needs to be taken. Men understand this. They can admit when they’ve had a lapse in judgment. They can take the heat for the unintended results of their actions. Boys can’t. In relationships, boy finds ways to convince women that they’re insecure or acting crazy when they were right all along. You see this a lot with emotional and physical infidelity

6.     Men date women. Boys date girls.

Men date women with a clear sense of direction and self-worth. We date the experience that has molded her into the person she’s grown to be. Boys date girls. They date the impressionable, the naive and the uncertain because they’re easier to manipulate. They look for someone that can’t spot their insecurities, or they date someone more insecure than themselves. Men understand that the difficult is done today and the impossible takes a little longer. Boys are concerned with the ease of the present moment

7.     Men ask women out. Boys wait to be asked.

Part of being a man is dealing with rejection. You can’t win ‘em all, but you can try to win the ones you want. Men go after what they like. Boys watch their likes pass by and pursue only those who pursue them first. They don’t initiate conversations or ask women out. They wait to be asked because they’re afraid of losing. Men can accept defeat. Boys dance around it.

8.      A real man takes responsibility

A real man takes responsibility for himself, his wife or girlfriend, and his kids. His word is his bond. He believes it’s important to fix his mistakes and make sure that no burden that should be his is passed on to anyone else

9.      A real man is a leader who can make decisions

A lot of women won’t admit this, but most of them absolutely hate being the one who makes the decisions in a relationship.

He began to moan "Why did you die oh why did you have to die?"

A passer by knelt down next to the man and said "Was this person very close to you?"

"No, actually i never met him!" replied the man
"Why are you moaning then?" asked the passer-by coursously.
"He was my wife's first husband!"

How To Overcome Failures in Life

1. Rise up and don't regret; you have spent your time wisely
A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more
useful than a life spent doing nothing.
When we fail, we might be tempted to think that we have wasted our
time and thus regret it. But that's should not be the case. The fact
that you have done something is much better than doing nothing. Many
people who despise persons who fail never do anything themselves. Rise
up and move on. The regret lies not in doing, but in not doing.
2. Understand that failure is there to bring you wisdom
Good people are good because they've come to wisdom through failure.
Failure is there not without a reason. It's there to give you the
wisdom you need to succeed. Each failure you encounter increases your
wisdom and brings you one step closer to success. If you have this
mind set, you will see failure differently. You will see each failure
as an opportunity to learn.
3. Learn as much as possible from the failure
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.
While failure brings you wisdom, how much wisdom you will get depends
entirely on your ability to harvest it. So don't waste the opportunity
to learn; harvest wisdom as much as possible from the failure. If you
fail to do this, you may waste a lot of time by repeating the same
mistakes in the future.
4. Don't give up; maybe you are only one step away from success
Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they
were to success when they gave up.
The thought of giving up is tempting, especially when we have failed
over and over again. But who knows that maybe you are only one step
away from success? Will you waste the long journey you have passed
when you are already so close to your destination?
So hold on tight and don't give up.
5. Maintain your enthusiasm
Not only you should keep on trying, you should also do it with the
same level of enthusiasm as when you first began. Otherwise your
subsequent effort will have less and less power.
So how do you maintain enthusiasm? One good way is by realizing that
you are now one step closer to success thanks to the lessons you
learn. There's no reason not to be enthusiastic when you are getting
closer to success. Another way is to keep your mind on the
destination, which brings us to the next point.
6. Keep dreaming big dreams
Always have your destination in mind; keep dreaming your big dreams.
Spend time to visualize them and let the dreams energize you. Let them
make you passionate and enthusiastic. Once you cease dreaming, soon
you will also lose your energy and be back to mediocrity. To overcome
all the obstacles you encounter you always need a greater why, and
that why is provided by your dreams.
7. Keep your confidence in yourself
Don't be afraid of the space between your dreams and reality. If you
can dream it, you can make it so.

DEADLY SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES

NOTE (The only sure way to prevent sexually transmitted infections is to avoid having sex entirely.  Another approach is to talk about these kinds of infections before you have sex with a new partner, so that you can make informed choices about the level of risk you are comfortable taking with your sex life. )

GONORRHEA

Transmission:
Gonorrhea is usually spread through contact with the penis, vagina, mouth, or anus. Ejaculation does not have to occur for gonorrhea to be transmitted or acquired. Gonorrhea can also be spread from mother to baby during delivery.
Symptoms:
Men
Burning or stinging feeling when urinating, or a white, yellow, or green discharge from the penis. This is often accompanied by a strong smell from the penis. Sometimes men with gonorrhea get painful or swollen testicles, but this is not so common
Women
Painful or burning sensation when urinating increased vaginal discharge, or vaginal bleeding between periods. Women with gonorrhea are at risk of developing serious complications from the infection, regardless of the presence or severity of symptom

Long Term:
Damage of urethra and urinary tract, sterility, throat damage if contracted from giving oral
Treatment:
Curable with antibiotics (injection may be needed for throat/rectal infection)
Ceftriaxone 250 mg IM in a single dose
OR, IF NOT AN OPTION
Cefixime (SUPRAX) 400 mg orally in a single dose (see suprax below)
PLUS
Azithromycin (ZITHROMAX )1g orally in a single dose. Can be taken as 4 x 250mg or 2 x 500mg (see zithromax below)
OR
Doxycycline 100 mg orally twice a day for 7 days

Test:
Urine test and/or swab test of penis, throat, anus, or vagina

Trichomoniasis

Transmission:
 Unprotected vaginal sex
In women, the most commonly infected part of the body is the lower genital tract (vulva, vagina, or urethra), and in men, the most commonly infected body part is the inside of the penis (urethra)
Symptoms:
Burning urination, discharge
Men with trichomoniasis may feel itching or irritation inside the penis, burning after urination or ejaculation, or some discharge from the penis.
Women with trichomoniasis may notice itching, burning, redness or soreness of the genitals, discomfort with urination, or a thin discharge with an unusual smell that can be clear, white, yellowish, or greenish.

Long Term:
Damage of urethra and urinary tract, sterility
Treatment:
Curable with antibiotics
Trichomoniasis can be cured with a single dose of prescription antibiotic medication (either metronidazole or tinidazole), pills which can be taken by mouth. It is okay for pregnant women to take this medication. Some people who drink alcohol within 24 hours after taking this kind of antibiotic can have uncomfortable side effects.
Test:
Urine test and/or swab test of penis or vagina

HERPES

Transmission:
Oral, anal, vaginal sex or kissing, skin to skin contact with herpes sores or cells
Symptoms:
Blisters on genitals, thighs, buttocks, or mouth
Long Term:
Individuals vary; many continue to have regular outbreaks
Treatment:
No cure, but suppressive medications can reduce severity and number of outbreaks
Test:
Visual, culture from sore, or blood test

HEPATITIS B

Transmission:
Unprotected oral, anal, and vaginal sex or blood contact
Symptoms:
Symptoms develop within 30-180 days of exposure to the virus. The symptoms are often compared to flu. Most people think they have flu and never think about having HBV infection.
  • Appetite loss
  • Feeling tired (fatigue)
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Itching all over the body
  • Pain over the liver (on the right side of the abdomen, under the lower rib cage)
  • Jaundice - A condition in which the skin and the whites of the eyes turn yellow in color
  • Urine becomes dark in color (like cola or tea).
  • Stools are pale in color (grayish or clay colored).

Long Term:
About 10% of infected adults become chronic
Treatment:
Bed rest; once you’ve had it, you won’t get it again; a vaccine is available
Test
Blood test

SYPHILIS

Transmission:
Oral, anal, and vaginal sex, direct skin to skin contact with chancre
Symptoms:
Primary: pain less chancre on genitals, mouth, or rectum; secondary: rash on hands/feet
Long Term:
May last one to three months and begins within six weeks to six months after exposure. People with secondary syphilis experience a rosy "copper penny" rash typically on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. However, rashes with a different appearance may occur on other parts of the body, sometimes resembling rashes caused by other diseases. They may also experience moist warts in the groin, white patches on the inside of the mouth, swollen lymph glands, fever, and weight loss.
Treatment:
Curable with antibiotics, but long-term damage can be irreversible if left untreated
Test:
Swab test of sore, blood test
